Overview

EMPATHIKA is the enterprise healthcare platform I work on day-to-day — and the codebase where I have the deepest footprint (2,000+ commits). I work across its backend architecture, API surface, and operational hardening.

What I work on

  • Healthcare domain — patient management, appointments, medical records, operational workflows, authentication, and authorization.
  • API & domain modelling in NestJS on Fastify, with TypeORM over PostgreSQL and Mongoose over MongoDB.
  • AWS integration — S3 (storage), SES (email), SQS (queues), Rekognition, and EventBridge Scheduler.
  • Real-time features over WebSockets / Ably, plus scheduled and queue-driven background jobs.
  • Reliability — Redis caching & rate limiting, structured logging, Sentry, and Swagger/Scalar API docs.

Proprietary product — source and live links are not public.
